I have many inspirations such as many different directors one that i personally love is David Fincher. David Fischer is an American film and tv director most well known for his 1999 classic film fight club which is a personal favourite of mine many also know him from his 1997 movie seven which is also a classic and one of the best serial killer movies out there. he also uses the same actors in most of his films mainly including brand Pitt which is an amazing actor. I also love David Finchers style you can always tell just by looking at the colour grading in his movies that its a David Fischer movie he also use the same shots in his movies if you watch most of his films you will begin to see his pattern such as his camera movements such as the camera following the character perfectly and stopping when the characters stop then begins to move again as the character moves its almost like he hijacks your eyes. David Fischer also does not do handheld he is a locked down put it on a tripod filmmaker but he used five handheld scenes in seven as brad Pitts character is chasing the killer and only one shot in the social network but mostly David hates using handheld shots. his filming its just so unique and is an inspiration for me. David also got into filming by directing adverts then eventually moved on to big productions and has his own company propaganda films.

Another director that I love is Edgar Wright his style is so unique and his comedy is amazing he is one of the best directors doing visual comedy perfectly such as in one of his best films shaun of the dead when shaun is hungover and walks to the shop not reliving his surroundings its hilarious. The way Edgar Wright also uses sound cues and music in his films is perfect such as in baby driver Edgar uses certain real sounds such as gunshots and movements of character to be timed with the song playing as baby listens to it. For example in one of my favourite scenes of the movie when baby goes rough from the crew and has to run away from the cops that scene is so well done as I was saying the sounds mix in with the music. He has only made 6 films and I love all of them because his comedy and style that's also the reasons he inspires me. Wright also was a massive movie fan and eventually made his first low budget film in 1995 it was a independent spoof western called a fistful of fingers he also is apart of record labels such as cherry tree records and ABKCO.

Reason for wanting to be a director

Im a big movie fan and I love certain styles and camera movements from directors and its something I've Been interested being for a long time since I was 12 and it is a very fun job to have especially if your passionate about it and love doing it it is also a very well paid job.
